In September 2008 the Institute of Chemistry of FEB RAS, under auspices of the Scientific Council of RAS on Analytical Chemistry, Scientific Council of RAS on Adsorption and Chromatography, Scientific Council of RAS on Fundamentals of Chemical Technology, organizes an International Symposium on Sorption and Extraction.
The Symposium will summarize achievements and developments of the fundamental and applied researches in the field of sorption and extraction and discuss new trends and prospects of their technological applications in the first quarter of XXI century, including applications in nuclear and analytical chemistry.
Scope of the Symposium
New sorption and extraction systems
Sorption and extraction in hydrometallurgy
Sorption and extraction in analytical chemistry
Sorption and extraction in synthesis and manufacturing inorganic substances and materials
The scientific program of the Symposium will include plenary lectures of the leading scientists on the contemporary problems of thermodynamics and kinetics in new sorption and extraction systems; discussions on latest achievements and prospects of sorption and extraction in technologies of separation of rare, radioactive, non-ferrous and noble metals, and environment protection.
In addition to plenary lectures, recent original data will be presented in oral and poster sessions of the Symposium.
The official languages of the Symposium will be English and Russian.
